#Yemen: Journalists Mohammed al-Junaid and Mohammed al-Salahi were due to be released from #Huthi prison in June and July 2022 after being sentenced to 3 years and 8 months by the Specialized Criminal Court for their work.

To date, they are still in prison.

During their detention, they faced multiple gross human rights violations, including:
❌Arbitrary detention
❌Enforced disappearance
❌Torture & other ill-treatment, including severe beatings
❌Denial of access to their lawyer
