Journalist Salah Attia was freed from detention

Tunisian journalist Salah Attia was freed from detention and reunited with his family last Friday (16 September) after the military court refused the prosecutor’s request to lengthen his prison sentence. While we maintain that Salah should never have been jailed in the first place, we welcome the news.
